Sometimes it’s hard to write because sometimes you don’t know what to say and sometimes you just feel but those feelings are so worn out that you’ve lost the ability to put them into words, because they’re so old and just not welcome anymore.
Sometimes we need to read other people’s words to help us feel better, when we just don’t have any words left in ourselves.
So tonight I’ll simply share the words of others.
“And we know in all things, God works for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purposes.” – Romans 8:28
“Though the night is long, there is a coming dawn. The light is breaking...” – Steffany Gretzinger & Amanda Cook, “Steady Heart”
“God hides his most precious treasures in our most difficult and painful experiences.” – Jon Bloom
“The Lord is good, a stronghold in a day of distress; He cares for those who take refuge in Him.” – Nahum 1:7
“God does not leave His children in the depths of sorrow. Joy will come, and it will come in God’s timing.” – John Piper
Sometimes their words are better.
No, not necessarily better. Just enough when ours have run out.
